Krista Reed developed this model for siblings to be able to be more engaged in the family process to assist the sibling experiencing a medical challenge. This is NOT to replace therapy and it is NOT to make the sibling into the caregiver of their sibling's medical issue. This is a manner to assist with family connection and support, not only for the child experiencing the medical issue, and also the child without the medical issue.
